What a wonderful Christmas we had! The kids said it was their best ever! It is hard to beleive that next Chistmas we will have a little crawler around! Brendell should be about nine months then.
We went snow barding over Christmas break....we drove up into the mountains (about an hour and a half) and let the kids play in the freshly fallen snow. There was about 8-10 inches on the ground, so it was perfect for sledding and boarding. The kids had a ball, and so did David!!! I will get some pictures of our day posted on here soon.
We had another ultrasound which confirmed that I have kidney stones. The only lifestyle change I need to make at this point is to be off my feet the better part of each day so that my body can concentrate it's energy on healing up the small cuts that those stones are making. Right now they are listed as unobstructing, so hopefully they will stay that way until after Brendell is born so that I can take advantage of pain medication should the stones become to painful to pass on my own. We are so thankful that this is not something that will inhibit my carrying Brendell to term, and everything with her looks great! I am 25 weeks now and have gained almost five pounds! Yippee! I am hoping to stay under a 15 pound total weight gain, and it looks like I will be able to meet my goal! She looks like a soccer ball under my shirt though, so I know she is growing well! She kicks and makes little waves across my tummy all the time. The kids just love to watch her move! This week they are going to paint my belly with body paints, so I will post some of thse pictures on this site as well as the snow boarding pictures.
December 11th....
Happy Birthday to Michael! He is a big 9 year old today! My how fast time flies!!
It's a GIRL!!!! We found out on the 5th of December that I am carrying our 2nd daughter! we could not be more thrilled!
We have added a new page to this web site....our new addition page...visit it to see Brendell's first picture!
On January 22nd, make sure that you set your VCR's or just sit down and watch the day time showing of THE PRICE IS RIGHT!! My mom, My Grandmother, My cousin, and myself are all on. We did not get to play a game, but we are sitting right behind contestants row screaming like crazy ladies over a food processor (among other things)! We should be on camera plenty because of where we are sitting.
Mom, Grandma, and Mary Ann all had a great visit here in Southern CA. We went to Hollywood, Santa Monica, Malibu, Santa Barbara, and good ole Ventura.
The Price Is Right was a highlight, as was dancing with Elvis on Hollywood Bld. We also ate at a very elegant little Italian place in Malibu called Guido's. After talking with our waiter, we found out that some of their regulars are Adam Sandler, Lakers and Clippers players, Hollywood Lawyers including the prosecution for O.J's trial, Emilio Esteves, lots of Soap Opera Stars, Alyssa Milano, and a few others whose names I can't remember. The food there was really great!
Madison has a hot pink cast on her leg now....from a possible hair line fracture in her ankle. She was running in high heeled sandals and twisted her ankle. We get a 2nd x-ray on the 18th to determine if it was actually a fracture. If it was, she will have it on through the holidays...if it isn't, then it can come right off that day.
I will be sending Christmas cards out to everyone this week! We hope that everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
